What is the St. Anne’s Smiles for Liberia Silent Auction and Gala?

A night of Fellowship to raise funds to support our own Dr. Ajavon-Cox’s work to provide a national dental program to children in war-torn Liberia.

Our evening will commence with a cocktail reception/wine tasting from the Wine Cabinet. Taste the offerings, and buy your wine to go with dinner! Next, we will enjoy a formal dinner of traditional Liberian cuisine, along with some familiar favorites. Liberian entertainment will be provided. Dress to impress!

During the course of the evening, lists of the items and services donated by the congregation will be posted, and you will be given a number as an unique and anonymous identifier. You may browse the lists of items and use your number to anonymously bid. (ie, write your number and your maximum bid on the list for that item. The next bidder writes their maximum bid above yours, and so on – until the top bid is reached.)

The evening will culminate as we announce the winners of each auction item. Look for items such as artwork, professional services, childcare, signed memorabilia – the list goes on.
