11:15 Rite II Service

When you join us for the 11:15 a.m., you’ll enjoy the same Rite II liturgy performed at 9:00, only with a robed choir performing music in the Anglican tradition. Like the 9:00, this service is followed by a coffee hour in the Library.

If you like Anglican music, you'll be delighted with St. Anne’s 11:15 a.m. service.

Our music for this service centers around the Episcopal Hymnal, which draws many of its songs from the stately hymns of the Church of England, as well as from other American and European churches. We supplement the Hymnal with a variety of other music, as well as music composed specifically for St. Anne's.

The time in between the 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services is the education hour where parents may attend interesting educational programs while their older children are going to Sunday school.

Both services are family-friendly—a toddler wandering down the aisle will get smiles, not scowls. However, a nursery is provided for children under five and a Cry Room is available for parents and little ones and is accessible from both the sanctuary and the nave. The nursery is staffed continuously by two adult caregivers starting at 9:00 through the 11:15 service. One caregiver is a paid staffer who brings consistent smiles to the little ones week after week, and one is a parent volunteer.

In the summer, we combine the 9:00 and the 11:15 into just one service, Rite II, at 10:00 a.m. Children’s Chapel is offered and the nursery is staffed and available.
